Jeanie’s Journey 5-13-10
Here is where I am as of now with ModeraXL. On my good days I’m down to smoking only 7 cigarettes a day. On my bad days, I’ve still not smoked more than 10 cigarettes.
It’s no longer a matter of having to deal with my cravings to smoke. Since taking ModeraXL my cravings aren’t bad at all. With me, I think it’s really more about breaking my longtime daily habit of smoking. I’m still smoking out of habit more than anything else. Like after meals for example. I’m just so used to having a cigarette after eating, that I’m still doing it. The other main trigger for me is relaxation. If I sit down to relax for a few minutes, I’ve been programmed to have a cigarette in those moments.
As for when I am taking ModeraXL, I’ve changed my schedule again. Lately, I’ve been pretty faithful taking it in the morning before going to work. While the stress of starting my new job has lessened, and I’ve gotten more into a routine, I’ve fallen off from taking ModeraXL in the evenings. Most days I’m only getting it once a day.
Today, I did make it a point to take my second stick pack of ModeraXL when I got home from work. I know it’s been helping me to quit smoking. I’ve just got to find a way to get it done twice a day.
